THE ILLINOIS MODEL PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT:
All Things to Consider for
Dual Credit and Early College
You may have questions about the Model Partnership Agreement (MPA), drawn up by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB). What role can the MPA play in developing the parameters of your MOUs? How can you use the MPA to guide your relationships with your partner institutions? And how can the MPA help you harmoniously expand your dual credit offerings?
The MPA is a document developed to meet the needs of Illinois’ dual credit institutions as they comply with the Dual Credit Quality Act. It provides a model of recommended practices for communities to scale and ensure access to quality dual credit courses.
ILACEP Past President Dave Naze, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Kankakee Community College, will help answer your questions about the MPA at the next ILACEP webinar.
